About

I am a basketball coach for Hillcrest High School in Riverside. I have worked with athletes ages 7 through 40, so I am very versatile when it comes to the age, level, and experience of my athletes. I have also coached kids at local community centers and trained kids from club basketball teams. I am also a Certified Personal Trainer under the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

I look for each player's individual weakness and help strengthen them in a progressive way depending on their current skill level. Drills will include:

1) Unlocking non-dominant hand with ball handling and finishing drills

2) Fixing Jump shot form

3) Increase player's IQ offensively and defensively by using game-like scenario drills

4) Improve Strength, Agility, and Conditioning

5) 1v1 drills against me (I'm 6'4 and 200lbs with guard/big man skills)

6) Help players become confident!

My passion is to help as many players unlock their full potential while reaching their goals!

After a few sessions I can see that Coach Jones cares about the craft he is going to teach you. He makes the game easier by helping with fluid footwork. I recommend him to anyone that wants to improve their game.

Coach Tyler is a great coach. He’s really nice, understanding, and super patient and explains the skill set very well. After the first session, I’ve already learned a lot. I can’t wait to see how much of a better athlete I become after completing all sessions. I’m excited to keep learning!

I currently work as a head basketball coach at Hillcrest High School in Riverside. I am also a certified personal trainer under the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

I started playing competitive basketball up to the age of 18, but I began to coach because my passion for coaching out grew playing.

I have worked with athletes ages 7 through 25, so I am very versatile when it comes to the age, level, and experience of my athletes. I have also coached kids at local community centers, high school players, and trained kids from club basketball teams.

Look for someone who is patient, attentive, and encouraging. You should be able to feel like you learn something each time you train.
