I strive not only to teach my students proper mechanics, I strive to make them believe in themselves. Confidence in youth sports, especially softball is key in what I teach, my students are a direct reflection of myself, as I teach them to not only be good ball players, I teach them to be better teamates and athletes.
I have been playing ball since I was 4 and still play as an adult. My lessons are out of my house here in Riverside CA. I am open Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday open depending when and if my eldest has tournaments.
The fact that God gave me the opportunity to possibly be the difference in a young athletes life. Whether it's on or off the field.

How did you get started teaching?
At first I was coaching my eldest daughters teams, during the off season parents were asking me to start working with their kids to keep them moving forward. Here I am.

Fullerton softball clinics.
Any high end instructional clinic put on by a college with a softball program. Plus side of college clinics is teaching our youth what is capable of the drive, talent and skill can match up to be, and okay with the best out there. College players can make great role models for our youth to look up to.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find the one that your kid desires to work with. Sometimes that means taking him/her to a few different coaches to find the right fit. Results from the teacher are just as important as being a coachable student.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Depends on what age. Some know what they are lacking in their swing and just need a tune up. Some are brand new and need all the direction from the top to the bottom of their mechanics.
