Trumpet Lessons
About
I have taught trumpet lessons, aural skills, and music theory for the past four years and am currently an instructor with the Riverside Arts Academy and teach private lessons at the Loma Linda Academy. I hold a Master of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Concordia University Nebraska.
Music is my passion that I enjoy sharing with other through performances and teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet students where they are in their learning process and work off of their strengths to mold them into a musicians with unlimited potential.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Concordia University Nebraska.

Forty-five minute lesson - $45

How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a passion and a knack for teaching and enjoy watching others learn, grow, understand, achieve their goals. I have taught lessons and tutored music theory and aural skills at the collegiate level and was a Teaching Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with students ranging from beginners learning their first notes to advanced players at the collegiate level.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should ask whether they are ready to learn, whether they want to get better, and whether they want to have fun making music while playing an awesome instrument.
