Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Sessions with me are fun but hard work. They generally start with a warm up. Then basketball drills i.e. dribbling, defense, etc will be performed that will be geared toward the skill the player would like to enhance. During the drills I will breakdown what to focus on why you are focusing on that specific technique. Finally I will offer/disply variations of the drills performed pending the players skill level. At this time I am only focusing on improving ball handling, defense, footwork with players as I do not have a gym to operate in at the moment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained players ranging from 4-45 for 15+ years at the beginner and intermediate level. With my particpation in training athletes at basketball camps, private lessons of students and adults I have learned several techniques and drills from some of the best in the field. I have been an Assistant Coach for two junior high schools and 1 high school for many years.
