I want to share my passion for photography with you! Whether you are you interested in taking better photos with your iPhone or your dslr camera, I will help you better understand your camera and how to take better photos and we will even discuss how to edit your pictures for print or upload to social media! Maybe you're a parent wanting to take better pictures of your kids? Perhaps you want to take amazing photos of your upcoming trip? Whether you want to take pictures of landscapes, people, events, or everyday street photos, I will help you take more amazing pictures to cherish and share with the people you care about!
I love photography for many reasons but the most valuable reason to me is that I see photography as a medium to document our most cherished moments in life and photographs preserve these moments in time that we can never get back. Maybe its a picture of you and a loved one or a picture of a loved one, and if all you have is that one picture of someone you care about–how important is that photo? Priceless.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Email me or text me and we can set up a phone call or video conferencing call and discuss further about your educational needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a wedding and family photographer with the over 3 years of experience professionally but I have been in love with taking photos and videos of my three kids literally since the moment they were born! My wife is also an amazing wedding & event dj and I shoot her promo pictures and videos.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$40/hr. We can discuss over a chat what your needs are and then we will work from there. Do you want to take better iPhone pictures? Do you have a new Dslr camera and you want to get started? Do you want to meet up at a local park or lake to take photos? No problem! I will walk you through the process of taking your shots and then we can quickly edit our photos using my laptop and I will send you the Jpeg files after we're done.
How did you get started teaching?
I have many years teaching people as I used to be a paramedic and I taught at the local paramedic school. I also have 3 young kids that have taught me a lot of patience and understanding into different learning styles. I myself have spent countless hours into learning the most basic and advanced techniques in photography and so I know just how confusing and time consuming it is to learn the craft of photography.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I got the opportunity to shoot my brother in laws engagement session but it was a total surprise to his then-girlfriend. He called me up to setup the surprise engagement photo session for him and although it was hard to hide this from my wife (his sister), when the moment happened, he got down on one knee after she turned her back for a second and when she turned around it was pure magic and I was there to capture it all!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just let me know what you are looking to do with photography and we will work together to best reach your goals!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Photography takes time and patience to learn and a lot of taking pictures throughout your day to get better. It requires some understanding of light, communicating with people (if that is who you want to shoot) as well as an understanding of technology: using a smart phone, laptop or some device to edit, store, and share your pictures.
