Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We are very focused on safety and the safety of our clients. We use the crawl, walk, run method and make sure you are comfortable/qualified at each step.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have extensive knowlege and training in the firearm industry as well as many years in real life senerios, including working the street as a law enforcement officer and Special Weapons and Tactics. Several deployments over seas to Afghanistan and Iraq as well.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We customize each session with the feedback and needs of our clients. We don't do the cookie cutter everyone gets the same lesson. We work with such a wide variety of people and backgrounds, so our training reflects their individual needs and wants.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently had a family come out that was getting ready to purchase a firearm for the house. They had 3 daughters (12,18,21) and all had very limited firearm expierence if any. The 2 older daughters had been schooled in a very liberal town where the teachers brainwash the kids to believe firearms are so bad and no one should have a gun. By the time our session was done, they were all saying what a great time they had, how they wanted to come back out to the range, and 2 of them wanted to buy the pistols they were shooting during the lesson. Just shows you that anyone can be converted and realize, guns aren't the bad guy and guns aren't a bad thing.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always make sure you have a good feeling and will mesh with your instructor. Make sure you know exactly what is included with the price of the lesson. There are a lot of little things, that if you don't know about them, they will add up very quickly. This is the reason we include everything with our lesson, the clients just being themselves, a smile, and an attitude that's willing to learn.
