What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the group class setting, we explore creative expression via introduction to various media and techniques. When working with a private student, we start where you are and head where you want to go.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Many many years of teaching in various circumstance, and a BA and MA in Fine Arts.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Based on $60. hr gross, Private lessons are $1. per minute, available in 15 minute, 30 minute or 1 hour(+) sections. Travel and facility expenses, plus $20. hr setup time fees are added to that.
Group classes are based on the same base gross amount (4 students - might be $20 each for a 1 hour class with 1 hour setup and free facility space).
How did you get started teaching?
I've always taught. It's part of who I am.
