I teach a variety of styles including classical, jazz, blues, rock, bossa nova, and flamenco guitar. I can teach beginners, intermediate players, or advanced professional guitarists.
I teach multi-string instruments and play a 9 string Guitar myself. I also teach bass and ukulele.
I teach reading skills, tab, chords and scales, and modes for great rock or jazz solos.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first determine what the student wants to learn. Usually, we start with learning reading skills and we use the Mel Bay instruction books. If a student wants to learn great Rock solos or to play jazz then I teach what the student wants to learn or how they want to improve their skills.
