My teaching experience is 37 years. My time as a professional artist is 46 years. I am known as a fine artist and teacher of experience here in my community of Monterey Penninsula , Carmel and Pacific Grove.
I create art from personal direct inspiration from my surroundings, global travel, and a vast inner life ! I enjoy the process of sharing how to creat fine art and technique that conveys it.

intervieing one on one via telephone or in person to find out if i am a good fit for the kind of art teacher and mentor they are looking for. Then if so, we begin !

Fine Art Studies in various collages and institutes, as well as self taught. Teaching experience for 37 years.

How did you get started teaching?
I came into teaching through the Lyceum Of Monterey with youth in 1979 working with high school students in art intensives.

All types , young and older.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Good fit and rappour , communication, empathy and inspiration and technique of course !

That is a personal path for each individual to discover via the communication.
