About

I have a Bachelors of Art in Education Psychology. I don't coach, I first class players into playing a sport. For basketball we have embraced the triangle offense created by Tex Winter out of K-State and University of Southern California. My work revolves around improving and cultivating skills, and athleticism.

I started this program in the Southeastern region of San Diego as a recreation basketball coach. I have since adapted to the principles of the triangle offense. I am confident in spite of the knock of it being an offense that is hard to learn and comprehend I have found method using a technique of repetition and timing that can teach any one at any age the the entire offense. I have now moved the Fremont California community to make the next steps to a nearby Oakland California for a Masters Degree in Sports Psychology at Holy Names University. Also, towards becoming a certified personal fitness instructor and coach with the ISSA. I enjoy helping all players from all diverse backgrounds. As to improve their overall game with the hope of working to make a difference in the world through coaching athletics.

Thank you so much for working with Nate. He’s progressively getting better while you are focusing on the areas that he needs to improve his skill set in. Training is very regimented but the structure is exactly what he needs. We are so lucky we found you on lessons.com. πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ€#celticsbasketball

My son has had 2 lessons so far and we are very pleased. Coach Austin works on fundamentals and tailors lesson plans to my son’s skill set. We are going to continue to work with him. He’s a great coach!

I have over 25 years experience as a basketball coach at the amateur and private level. I am also working to get a CPT10 as a personal fitness trainer in July 2023.
Yes, the standard pricing depends on the particular sport. Also all contracts have mandatory meet dates which require clients to commit at least 2.5 hours and 8.5-9 hours weekly for training. We also work with people in need of assistance if necessary. Our goal is to help develop and cultivate athletes to be more intelligent -based sound, and precise. Which requires the connection and balance of mind, body and spirit.
How I got started teaching came from my mother. She was a teacher and inspired me to become a teacher. I have a BA in Educational Studies from UAGC in Kearny Mesa California in 2022.
I have worked with low income disenfranchised youths from ages 10 years old to adult level clients. I currently work with Parks and Recreation with the City of Oakland.
A recent event I was fond of is getting a better understanding of the triangle principles.
My advice to any student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise is to remember it's a details it's the little things that make the big things happen.
Is it the right (appropriate) time to ask? Is this thing I'm asking for something I truly need or something I desire? Will this question interrupt the scheduled learning of my peers if so, how can I prevent this and not injure the other person.
