1. A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello everybody! My name is Fabiana. I am an enthusiastic native teacher. I speak English and Spanish fluently, and I also understand a little Portuguese.

I love to teach online because it allows me to meet new people and better understand their cultures and traditions. I also love cooking, especially handmaking pasta and pizza from scratch. I relax reading and working out. Hiking helps me keep in contact with nature and its beauty.

I have three amazing children (10, 8 and 7 years old). I just moved back with my family to the States from Italy. Hope to see you soon!!!

2. TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My background:

I am a fully qualified, credentialed Italian teacher. I have a college degree in foreign languages and teaching. Additionally, I have earned two specialty certificates to become a high school teacher and two Master degrees focused on language teaching methods, techniques, and strategies. I also regularly study to keep current on the latest teaching methods.

My teaching experience: My 16 years of online and in person teaching in the U.S. and Italy includes Italian as a second language, English and Spanish. My experience ranges from TK, K, primary, middle, high school and adults to individual and small online groups.

How I teach:

The beginning of learning a new language may look exhausting. However, the ability to use a language to communicate on vacation, to pass an exam, or to just approach a new culture is highly rewarding and is easier that you may first imagine. My full immersion Italian lessons will lead you to the beauty of Italian sounds from the very first lesson. You will understand, speak, and become fluent faster than you ever thought possible.
