Hi there! My name is Samantha Anderson and I am the owner of Samantha Anderson Artist. Is it business where I love what I do! Not only do I get to teach what I love and express my own personal art expertise, but I get to share the love of Art and creativity with those around me. Have a look at my website, because painting and drawing is not all I do! More often than not, get hired for parties doing face paint, henna tattoos, glitter tattoos, and balloons and it is absolutely one of my favorite things to be able to bring smiles to children and the guests around me. Another thing I love to be able to do is paint parties and paint nights! They're so fun and what's great is that none of the students I work with need to have any background in art because everything is a step by step learning process! I love what I do!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Lessons are dependent on the skill level of the student(s) as well as their availability. I work with each student based off of their experience and work with them in learning new techniques that fit the style of painting or drawing that they would like to achieve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was an art minor and I've taken many painting and drawing classes. I also have recently worked with Michael's in teaching their art classes for both acrylic painting and drawing, but have since moved on to teaching on my own. I also worked for Kaman's Art Shoppes with face painting and henna tattooed and have also since crafted my own business where I can create on my own with parties and events.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I got hired by Michael's back in 2015 and have been teaching on my own ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with everyone from older ages to young adults, teens, and weekly kids classes during the school year. It's great for all ages learning a new skill, brushing up on a rusty talent, or just having fun bought in (or out) with your friends during a friendly paint night!
