About this pro

DaLuz Soccer has a one of a kind soccer heritage, we are a soccer family of two coaches with NCAA division 1 experience and two developed sons with NCAA division championships: Georgetown and Wake Forest.

We bring the technical and athletic training required for serious committed soccer players of all ages, boys and girls. I've coached College All-Americans as well as grade school, club and level in between. I've navigated club, to USDA development and on to college D1 soccer with my son, with real first hand experience in the soccer college scholarship path to the elite program and school of Georgetown.

Steohen DaLuz, a San Diego based coach, played and coached at UC Santa Barbara, as well as club and school soccer, he holds a CALSOUTH National D license.

if you are a player with goals of college and/or pro soccer there is no other coach more qualified for individual and small group sessions.

Steve is also a 5-star academic tutor, possessing an MBA with students ranging from grade school to MDs pursuing MBAs. He has successfully assisted college applicants to UC, State and private schools.

Coach Steve loves to develop players but is the one coach to always say " the ball is the best coach" but it's what you do with the ball. Oh and it can be, and should FUN!

I've had a long corporate career but always had soccer coaching "on the side" with my son at Georgetown now I am looking for new players to develop and achieve goals like my own son. I am a native San Diegan, played club and high school soccer, (CIF Champion Claremont High).

I enjoy giving back to a game that has given me so much by getting the best out of players to reach potential.

I tell my players we all land somewhere between being a participant or a competitor. My forte is shedding the particpant mentality and leading kids to their inner competitor.
