What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I begin with physical endurance and continue with the fundamentals. From there I begin to teach technique and develop tactical comprehension of the game. I teach players how to play but also improve upon any weaknesses and build upon on their strengths. Sessions are taken in that order while also foster a fun learning and playing environment. I DO NOT train goalkeepers.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters Degree in Sport Coaching from the University of Northern Colorado. I also hold the following qualifications:
United States Soccer Federation National D License
Scottish Football Association Youth/Adult Coaching Award 1.3
Scottish Football Association Goalkeeping Certificate 1.2
US Youth Futsal Level 1

I would advise that athletes consider their goals and expectations.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Atheletes should contemplate the duration of the training (timeframe working with a coach), thier long and short term goals & areas of improvement.
