What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach terminology and knowledge of the game. The way it is intended to be played. I communicate, demonstrate, I have the student replicate physical activity. I explain the techniques, I adjust their mechanics. I train their vision, tracking the movements and speed of the ball. I eliminated fears throughout their mental prowess, and skill set. Fun and enjoyable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A sixty year career in Baseball/Softball. I have played for multiple Coaches and 100 teams. Played with and against the best players in the world. I have passed the NFHS courses. Certified CPR, AED, First aid, concussion, Vaccination, TB.

An hour rate of $ 85.00 individual. Clients in San Francisco. Field Moscone. A Free evaluation trial for half hour. Charges apply if continued. Travel to other cities additional cost. Package discounts available per client.
How did you get started teaching?
While a playing career over sixty years, more than 2000 games. Having multiple coaches and hundreds of teammates. Learning was easy. Teaching , what I learned started after an injury.
What types of students have you worked with?
Currently Baseball, I am the head coach at Galileo high school. I am the head coach at Presidio middle school. I did four years at City College as pitching coach. (Women's softball). I am the pitching coach at Galileo Softball (girls). Private training. 8-18. Fastpitch softball girls.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Since the end of restrictions (COVID). Getting back to the field and Coaching. How much I missed the joys of training youth.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Remember, that it's a privilege to be healthy and capable enough to participate in playing a great sport. Respect yourself a and others.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Parents and students, what development stage are you currently at ? This game takes years to acquire skills. Live in the moment and enjoy the ride. Ask the trainer/ teacher to explain his evaluation of you child's ability, knowledge, desire. The student should want it more than the parents.
