What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, meeting the students and their parents. Then I listen to them to gain knowlegde about them and what would they want to get out of training with me. After that we get on the court with a few fundamental exercise for me to see what they need to work on and how can we improve that. And lastly talk about the plan on what would the best option for students to become better basketball players.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played Division 1 college basketball as well as pro overseas. I worked out with a lot of players who play in the NBA today and best Europe leagues.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
One-on-One: $60/hr
One-on-two: $45/hr per person
One-on-three: $35/hr per person
One-on-four: $25/hr per person
How did you get started teaching?
It was my senior year of playing for the USF where I felt I should pass down my knowlegde to the next generations. I started working out with younger teammates from the team and I liked it. They liked my style of teaching and that's where I got the passion to continue doing it.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types of students. All positions as well. NBA players, college D1, European players
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet with the teacher and hear him out and workout with him few times. It is all about you, your happiness and your improvement. If you don't feel one of those three you should look for a new trainer.
