About
Hi my name is Madeline (Maddy) Hatch. I am a current 4-year professional basketball player. I began my basketball career at St.Ignatius, where I played two years of varsity basketball for the Wildcats. Despite two knee injuries and surgeries, I still found a way to earn a scholarship to play at Cal Poly Humboldt, where I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy. During my time at Humboldt, I helped my team win the 2018 CCAA Conference Championship and had two NCAA tournament appearances in 2018 and 2019. I am currently in the record books at Humboldt for 3-pointers made in a season.
IN 2021, I went on to continue my basketball career internationally where I played professionally for four years in Spain & Italy, helping two teams get promoted. In the 2022-2023 season I aided my team in winning the Italian A2 Championship, getting promoted to the first league.
My basketball training focuses on building a strong foundation. I possess an expertise in the fundamentals of shooting. My journey has equipped me with the understanding of how to best overcome adversity, not only in basketball but in life. I bring this into my basketball training and mentorship.
Furthermore, I am trained in pre-physical therapy, especially in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and strength training. I am currently completing my masters in kinesiology at the Cal State Bakersfield. I can aid players in mastering the fundamentals of basketball and gaining confidence to overcome whatever obstacles they may face.
In addition to offering basketball training, I also offer basketball training specifically for individuals recovering from various injuries. This training allows athletes to have safe administration back into basketball specific movements.
