Nor-Cal Premire Basketball Academy
About
I have been dribbling a basketball since I was 3 years old and I've loved it ever since. Basketball has giving me a chance to travel, make life long friendship, and giving me self confidence that I didn't think I had in myself. After my playing days I had a chance to coach. Staying around the game I love has been a blessing to me and my family and I would like to give back by sharing my knowledge of the game. I've been in the training business for the last 9 years and I have been coaching high school basketball for the last 5. I've been blessed to play at a top level program in the state of California in high school Bishop O'Dowd. I've also played at Menlo College where I was a first all conference defender and a all conference player my senior year.
What I enjoy is helping kids get the confidence and the skill for them to be successful not only on the court but in life.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process with a new student is a get to know you process. I give a basic first workout to see things that they are good at and things that need to be worked on so that we can progress in skill.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played high school and college basketball. I am also a girls varsity coach at Gateway High School in San Francisco
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard Pricing will be $40 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started in 2010 with a company called Triple Threat Academy. I was with the company for 2 years before I branched off on my own.
What types of students have you worked with?
The youngest that I have worked with have been 5 years old. the oldest I have worked with have been 18 years old.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
This year I just coached my high school team to the Section Playoffs for the first time since 2006.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are hiring someone that will help you master the basics. Once you have that down you can expand your game to your favorite player. If someone is giving you drills that are not fundamental base or game transfer workouts then that is not a place where you want to be.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should know what their strengths and weaknesses are. Once they figured that out, they can get help crafting a plan that will help their game grow. If they are too young for that then they will work on mastering the fundamentals.
