I am a free tutor. Unlike other tutors, I am not trying to get paid. My focus is on seeing the students excel and that is what I love about my job.
I love seeing students learn. Seeing a student understand a concept they previously struggled with is truly inspirational.

Free: I'm a high school student and really want to help younger students with their work. I do not want to charge for my service.
How did you get started teaching?
When I was in 5th grade, I helped children in Kindergarten learn to read. Since then, I have been tutoring younger students at my school. I also help my siblings with their homework.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students grades K-8 in French, math, and English.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently participated in National History Day. National History Day is a competition where you create a project for a given theme. The theme this year was Breaking Barriers, and my group passed the competition in my county and is heading to the state competition.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Sometimes concepts may be difficult to grasp at first, but with perseverance and dedication, you will get there! Also, it is not a bad thing to need a tutor. Tutors are supposed to help you excel and get better, and you should not be embarrassed to have a tutor.
