USSD San Anselmo
About
We offer personalized attention using a private lesson. Many studios or dojos focus on only one area or skip areas all together. USSD San Anselmo works with all aspects of martial arts so that you or your loved ones can get the full experience. Our main focuses are: Practical Self Defense, Forms, De-Escalation, Enviornemental Awareness, Safe Sparring, Focus, Respect, and Discipline. However there are many other important areas that we work on as well. We assess your abilities and work on strenthening the areas that need the most help. Everyone is different and has different strengths so why shouldn't your martial arts training be different as well?
I have been doing Martial Arts for seven years now and every day I learn something new or different. Every day is a learning experience and I always finish the day thinking about how I could have improved the lessons I teach or how to improve the overall experience. Every student has a unique way of approaching the martial arts, they all have areas they enjoy and excel in and areas that they struggle and need help in. Pushing students out of their comfort zones to try and improve their weaker areas always proves a difficult yet rewarding experience. This is the only job I have ever had where I wake up exited to go to work and go to sleep exited to start the next day. The martial arts has honestly changed my life and I hope to share that experience with others.
