I am an artist, art teacher and designer...working with individuals. I have taught youth and senior high students classes in art. I have also taught academic subjects with varied populations, including ESL students.

Over 25+ years of teaching experience; it is my natural love of teaching that motivates me to assist individual talents.
CA credentialed as art/design teacher; k-12 and individualized academic tutoring. Bilingual CLAD certified, have taught ESL language development.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First consultation; telephone conversation or home visit. Discuss areas of academic and personal training. Inquiry into what learning is desired. Process oriented.

How did you get started teaching?
I started with youngsters. taught in high school and middle schools--academic subjects and art education: incl. drawing, designing, painting, art history, art appreciation, interior design and architecture.

Varied population--youth and adults; English as a second language, learning challenged, multiple learning deficits, and artistic gifted students
