F. A. Jaramillo has been drawing since she was five years old. As a teen, she learned about Jose Posada and Frida Kahlo from an art teacher. Drawing on paper with pencil, ink, and felt pens, She began painting on canvas when she was twenty-five. She began entering art shows in Dallas, Texas, starting at the Bathhouse Cultural Center and entering the Day of the Dead Celebration and the Corazon shows. She was also showing in California and New Orleans. Ms. Jaramillo's work has been in multiple venues, including The Bathhouse Cultural Center in Dallas, Texas, The Pickery Studio in New Orleans, Louisiana, 111 Minna St. Gallery in San Francisco, and many others.
Frances continues to live in San Francisco and shares her love of art.
