Kristen Brown Art

I am a practicing artist and exhibit my work throughout the US and Canada. I am trained in both traditional and contemporary painting teachniques. I have a BFA from the University of Saskatchewan and an MFA in Painting from Academy of Art Univerity.

I am teaching artist for Winsor & Newton oil and watercolor, Liquitex acrylic, and Arches paper. I conduct technical workshops at art colleges, universities, and retail locations across Northern California, including: UC Berkeley, SFAI, CCA, Academy of Art University, and SF State. I am also an instructor at a local art studio where I teach painting and drawing to children and teens.

I teach out of my home studio in San Francisco. It is a large space with good light and is set up nicely for private one-on-one lessons. Supplies are included in lesson fee. I have mainy different types of paint, mediums, brushes, and surfaces for student to try and learn with.
