Niko is a skill development trainer, who has worked with players at all levels. Following high school, he attended the University of California Riverside for 1 year where he was a student-athlete. He then transferred to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA where he led his team to 3 winning seasons, as well as a conference championship to end his senior year. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, his basketball career continued by getting drafted to play professionally in the National Basketball League of Canada. He then continued his professional career to play 3 more years in numerous countries such as: Japan, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Niko then turned to his true passion which was training and developing players. Niko has the ability to break down and assess each player’s strengths and weaknesses. His approach to teaching is to build an athlete's confidence as he works to improve their skill level and understanding of the game. He is passionate about the game of basketball and has a great ability to demonstrate the skills necessary to become an effective player. Niko is a true student of the game, and trains players to develop game-like action skills which allow them to perform at any level. Our goal is to develop young men and women on and off the court. Niko truly believes in building the mindset of young athletes in order for them to succeed in every aspect of life. Niko will not only prepare his athletes for successful basketball careers but most importantly, life after basketball.
