As a flute instructor, Mrs. Miller has 15 years of teaching experience and teaches private lessons to students of all ages and levels in the greater Los Angelea area. She has had students earn top positions in highly competitive ensembles, including SCSBOA All-Southern Honor Groups, CBDA All-State Honor Groups, Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra, Pacific Symphony Youth Ensemble, and Pasadena Youth Ensembles. As an MTAC certified instructor, she helps prepare students for Certificate of Merit testing and has maintained a 100% studio pass rate on the exam. She holds an annual flute studio recital for her students. She teaches all levels and ages-from beginners who want to learn how to play flute and read music, to helping high school seniors with college admission into the music program. In addition to teaching, she is a substitute with the Los Angeles Philharmonic and is a member of the California Symphony, Redlands Symphony, Marin Symphony, and Stockton Symphony.
