As a former Division 2 athlete, I understand the transformative power of basketball in shaping character, instilling discipline, and fostering a strong sense of teamwork.     I got started teaching and coaching after completing my athletic career at Adams State University. Once I finished my time as a student-athlete, I was approached and asked to assist with coaching and training in an Amateur Athletic Union basketball program. It was a fantastic opportunity, and I gladly accepted the role. From that moment on, I found my true passion for teaching and mentoring young athletes. The experience was incredibly rewarding, and I realized that helping others develop their skills and achieve their potential was my calling. Since then, I have dedicated myself to coaching and training, and I have never looked back. It brings me immense joy to be a part of their basketball journey and witness their growth both on and off the court.
    Throughout my coaching career, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students. From kindergarten all the way to college, I have coached athletes of all ages and skill levels. This wide spectrum of students has provided me with valuable experience in adapting my coaching approach to cater to individual needs, abilities, and developmental stages. Whether it's introducing the basics to young beginners or refining advanced techniques for college-level players, I am committed to nurturing their passion for basketball and helping them achieve their full potential on the court.
