About
I have experience in tutoring students in various math levels (from algebra 1, algebra 2, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus, and statistics).
I am an incoming college freshmen, and I have tutored throughout my high school career. I can see from a student perspective where they get stuck and I always explain in a very student-oriented fashion. I never overcomplicate explanations because of my experience.
I have been assigned to students of all different levels in class, whether their grades were As or Ds. When I went into calculus for the first time, I struggled for the first time and I felt my confidence in math diminish. Feeling that type of struggle allowed me to thoroughly understand what type of concepts are tricky and where students may get stuck.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is different and has different methods of learning. I like to instill confidence in the student by allowing them to practice material in a "learn by doing" method only after I have demonstrated and guide them step-by-step on how to tackle simple and difficult problems.
What types of students have you worked with?
I teach mostly Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, and Statistics students. (majority being high school students)
