What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I would ask the student about themselves and tell them a little about myself so that they can feel comfortable.
Next I make sure to give them simple questions in the subject we are focusing on to see what their level is.
And for the lesson I help them as they do the work. It is not a lecture, it is time spent on them doing the work themselves, and me ensuring that they are approaching it correctly.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience as a private tutor.
I have a bachelors degree in Applied Physics.
I have a minor in Literature.
I have also spent time as a camp counselor and know how to keep kids entertained and focused.
