At DiamondGenius we combine time tested fundamental baseball skills with mental state of mind to help individual ball players perform at a higher level. Using best practices in leadership theory we help indidvuals and coaches cultivate a high performing mindset that enables indidvuals and teams to thrive on and off teh baseball diamond. We help indidvuals and teams set meaningful performance goals and then do regular one-to-one check-ins (something most coaches don't have time to do) on their goals, assessing their motivation and skill development needs to their performance goals. We help individuals and coaches set up and pursue their baseball dreams through regular virtual or face-to-face meetings that focus on critical conversations about their performance goals. I love teaching the art and science of baseball. I have played for over 40 years and have coached for 16 straight years, from t-ball through high school level. One of the things I'm most passionate about is teaching the fundamentals of the game, regardless of how old you are, so that players can learn the little details of the game and help them play it as smoothly as possible. When you learn the game the right way, it leads to loving the game and developing your own passion as a player for it. Baseball is a great teacher of life skills that players can take with them through school and apply the rest of thier lives.
