I received classical training in mathematics and physics. Currently tutoring a student who is transitioning from K-8 to K-9 level. Obtained an M.Sc. degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute in Russia and a Ph.D. in Physics from Royal Holloway University of London in England.
Passionate about teaching and seeing people grow in their understanding of math and physics.
We looked at several options to help our son with his math problems and decided that one-on-one study support is the best way to go. Konstantin customizes the lessons to fit student’s ability level. In our case, he would go over the class materials that sometimes the school teacher may have gone through too fast in class. Konstantin makes sure the main concepts are mastered the remaining times. We particularly appreciate the teacher’s ability to provide in depth understanding of the subject and not just going through the mechanic of solving the math problems. Our son has done very well in his current math class but more importantly he is well prepared for future careers in STEMS if it is what he wanted to pursue.
I have an individual approach to each student. People learn at different speeds and respond to tutoring differently. I tend to concentrate on the basics, so the students could build and expand their knowledge more efficiently when they are at school.
