In my class, students' "needs" and "wants" are prioritized. It helps students achieve their goals while combined with students' "lacks" in lesson planning. Therefore, I've gained a lot of successful teaching experiences in designing lessons targeting students' goals and expectations. My Chinese class has covered topics from kids Chinese to adult Business Chinese, and my violin lesson has helped not only young and adult students to develop a hobby but also school-age students to succeed in their school band or student orchestra.
I wish one day I could share all my learning and teaching experiences with you:)

I am an adult. I have been learning violin from Lynn for about half a year. I really like her and her classes. She is very nice, always very patient and she even extended her class for a couple times without any extra charge. My violin skills have improved a lot since it is very easy to communicate with her and she can always find out my weakness and help me overcome it soon. Although most her students are kids, but she adjust the learning progress to make me learn faster. Before I took her class, I thought I might give up learning violin, but by taking her classes, I am always passionate about learning it. Besides, we communicate in Mandarin, which is very convenient to me. I highly recommend Lynn for teaching violin.
With respect to my son learning violin at a very young age (4), her experience with children as I was able to see is very impressive. Her ability to keep my son alert and interested during the entire session of the private class shows her extensive experience with Violin and understanding of how children behave with respect to musical positioning while learning music for the first time. She teaches with detail while being able to put herself in my child's shoes knowing what my child needs to stay alert. My son is very happy to learn from her and seems to remain up to date. I will definitely continue bringing my son to see and learn from her.
My son has been taking violin lessons with Lin for 2 years now and he has learned to love music and feel confident while playing in his school orchestra. This is my son's first instrument and now he is the first chair in his 7th grade orchestra! He really enjoys lessons with Lin and she always gives great feedback.
I've been taking lessons for about 2 years now and I think Lin Is a great teacher. she gives constructive feedback and tells me exactly what I need to work on, why its important to know, how to improve that technique, and then she shows me herself how to do it. she also tells me what I am doing well. I'm enjoying learning from Lin, she is a really nice person to talk to, she is very friendly but firm also expects you to meet her expectations.
In my class, students' "needs" and "wants" are prioritized. I will first talk about student's expectations and goals, and their past learning experiences, and then I will customize my class to fit their levels. Learning materials will be recommended based on student's progress, along with a wide variety of supplemental materials to further enhance their practice.
Please make sure to check the availability and talk about your learning background as well as your goals with me before purchase the lesson.
