I do private, semi private, and group art lessons for every age group. I teach drawing, painting, acrylics, oils, and watercolor. I give individual attention to each student meeting them at their skill level and elevating them to new heights.
I also give social painting classes which I call « Paint and Sip ». These classes are a one night workshop with guided instruction to complete a full painting in a fun interactive social environnement. A description of the paint and sip classes can be found on my website: artandwisdom.com
I have been a practicing artist for many years. I’ve received honors for my work, and have shown in many venues throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art. I have been an exhibiting artist at the Sausalito Art Festival for the past 20 consecutive years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always talk to each student before hand, to find out what they hope to accomplish. Some people want to learn about composition, others want to become more proficient with their favorite medium or to improve their drawing skills. Others want to be more expressive or just to have fun with art.
Once we establish what a student’s needs are, I design the class to help the student to achieve their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors degree in art education. I completed post graduate work that included over 95 credit hours with an emphasis on painting.
