Our Drivers Training program is in accordance with the DMV and our instructors have the knowledge and patience to make this a nice and successful experience.Our training fee is very affordable and our cars are late models toyota corolla and toyota prius with brake and gas pedal at the passenger side for the instructor to be able of control the vehicule in case of emergency. we accept credit cards: Visa , Master Card and Discovery, checks as well as on line payment via secure paypal account or you may call our office and pay over the phone or also pay with check or cash to the instructor the day of first appointment. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student is different. We start practicing in residential areas and after that depending how the student is improving we go in busy streets, all the time making sure the student is ok to do what we are trying to do, we don't want to scare our students forcing them to drive in the freeway ,if they are not confident enough to do it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have all the training required by the D.M.V. of california to be an instructor and we also attend seminars about new rules and techniques to teach our students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
we offer packages of 6 ,10,20 hours or as many our students wants to take.We also offer lesson by lesson. Every lesson is for 2 hours.
How did you get started teaching?
I started working as a driving school manager and after that i got my instructor license, started teaching and here i am now with our own school.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kind of students, including persons with desabilities, some people with autism,some people with Hearing impairment and also seniors 85 years of age and up.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Dont look at the prices only. Some driving schools gives you an initial low price and after that they charge you for gas and certificates, or sometimes you have to wait for 1 to 2 months to have an appointment. Call the school and ask all questions you consider neccesary
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Any question is good. Sometimes an student does not want to ask an specific wuestion because it looks like a too obvious answer. We are ready to answer the most simple question or the most difficult one about driving and rules.
