About this pro

I am both a credentialed teacher with a master's degree in advanced learning theories and a veteren Foothill League high school coach.  I have coached players that are playing collegiantly as well as professionally.  I have access to top notch facilities, fifteen years of classroom, and on the field experience.  I have coached varsity, jv and frosh baseball, but I think more importantly understandt the psycological elements that go into quaity instruction, motivation, as well as performance.  Give me a try, you won't be disappointed!

Time spent on the field is a pleasure for me.  I enjoy being around the game, helping young players reach their goals, and being a positive influence like so many were to me when I was growing up.  It is also awesome to see your players make it to the next levels on the field, it is almost a surreal experience at times.

He has a great demeanor with young players. You can tell he knows what he is doing. He is great at motivating my son and focuses on improving all aspects of his game.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I first consult the person purchasing the student's lesson as to what they would like me to help the student with, what the percieved difficulties may be, or what ultimate goals we are working toward.

I then design a workout based on what the student needs so that the skills they are practicing are the ones they will need to be successful.

I then begin working with the student to see what their capabilities are and further assess their skills/strengths/weakeneses.  I take note of the data from the workout and report back to the person purchasing the lesson and we confer about what the next steps should be.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I played collegiant baseball, was all conference in Junior College, before injuries ended my playing career.  I have taught and coached at the high school level for 15 years working with a variety of highly successful coaches and mentors.  I also hold a valid California teaching credential and a mater's degree in advanced learning, so I am accustomed to working with a wide range of learners, which gives me the ability to connect and work effectively with students.
