About

My Name is Coach Daniel Soto. I have been coaching softball and baseball since 1996, having moved exclusively to softball in 2012. I have had the privilege of coaching young athletes from the Tee-Ball level all the way up to College Softball. I have worked with countless Division 1, Division 2, and NAIA Baseball/Softball players, and have a knack for turning around players and programs that others have given up on.

I have led multiple teams to their most successful seasons, shortly after taking them over, culminating with a CIF Div 2 Championship during my time as head coach at Venice High School.

I pride myslef on my knowledge of the game and my ability to teach the skills required to succeed. I specialize in hitting instruction and fielding instruction (both infield and outfield). And as an added bonus I throw all of my own batting practices (yes full windmill softball)! No machines or half toss! I have always felt that live BP is imperative to teaching timing and loading in a swing.

    I hold a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and I am a afully credentialed teacher. I also possess certfications from CIF, National Federation of State Hish School Associations, Concussion Protocol, and First Aid-CPR. I am not a fly-by-night coach, this is my full-time job and my passion!
