About

My name is Chris Johnson, and basketball has been a part of my life at every level. I’m 31 years old, with four years of high school varsity experience, three years of college basketball, and I earned NAIA All-American honors in 2017. I’ve competed professionally in Mexico, Canada, Spain, Indonesia, Malta, Europe, and the NBA G League (2020). I’ve trained with and against elite talent, learned multiple systems, and adapted to high-level basketball cultures around the world. That experience is what separates my training from the rest. My training focuses on game-ready skills, basketball IQ, conditioning, and confidence, using proven workouts and techniques I learned throughout my professional career. Whether you’re a beginner, high school athlete, or college-level player, my goal is to help you train smarter, play faster, and elevate your game.

    Frequently asked questions

I start by learning the customer’s goals, experience level, and availability. From there, I assess strengths and areas for improvement and create a training plan tailored to the individual. As we work together, I adjust the approach based on progress, feedback, and what coaching style works best for the athlete. Every session is focused, high-intensity, and adjusted as we go to make sure they’re improving, gaining confidence, and getting real results.
I have been playing for over 20 years and have played at the highest level. I played four years of varsity high school basketball and three years of college basketball, earning NAIA All-American honors in 2017. I also competed professionally in Mexico, Canada, Spain, Indonesia, Malta, throughout Europe, and the NBA G League in 2020. My experience at every level allows me to teach the game with real perspective and understanding.
My pricing is fair, competitive, and based on the type of training and goals. I focus on delivering real value and results, and everything is discussed upfront so customers know they’re getting the best fit and the best value for their investment.
I’ve loved basketball and been deeply involved in the game since I was a kid. I still play today and now want to give back by passing on the knowledge, skills, and lessons I’ve learned over the years to help others grow and improve.
I’ve worked with athletes of all ages and all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
One of my favorite recent projects was working with an athlete focused on tightening fundamentals and building confidence. We trained consistently over several weeks, breaking down skills, correcting habits, and gradually increasing intensity. By the end, the player showed noticeable improvement in both performance and mindset, which is always the most rewarding part of the process.
Look for someone who can explain concepts clearly, adjust techniques as needed, and create an environment that feels comfortable and effective for you. The best trainer is the one whose approach works best for your learning style and goals.
Think about your goals, experience level, availability, and what coaching style works best for you. Knowing what you want to improve helps us as professionals decide the right fit and how to approach the training effectively.
