Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start off with teaching the new driver the car specifications such as wipers, turn signals, mirrors, defrosters, etc....Then we will touch up on basic driving rules then straight onto the road. Our expertise Instructors have all the knowledge & experience to assist the new driver in any situation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our Instructors have been with our organization for more than 10 years and have to have a clean driving record and have to go thru a background check & many other tests & continuing education to keep their valid driving Instructors license through the DMV. Our instructors go to seminars to learn new rules & regulations quarterly in a yearly basis.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Unfortunately, we do not. We serve both LA county & Ventura county so therefore its a broad spectrum.
How did you get started teaching?
This is a family owned business. We have been serving our community since 1987. All of our staff here is her to make a difference in every students life. We make sure all our staff feels the same way before hiring them.
What types of students have you worked with?
We have worked with the deaf community, special needs community, Elderly community, Nervous & Anxious drivers, ADA community, and of course our teenagers and adults with or without any experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Our reviews are key to our organization. We have reviews daily by our students of our driving Instructors with such encouraging words!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If i were hiring anyone to assist me, I would look into reviews and compare and contrast. With this type of work its hard because there are some driving schools that dont have insurance, or even licensed or bonded. It shows in there pricing and sometimes its hard to compete with there low downgraded prices. We are new to lessons.com but we are working on getting reviews on here from our students. If you want to see our reviews you can see them at google.com
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students just need to be open minded to the Instructors directions and guidance so they can be successful.
