About this pro

As a teenager I fell in love with the art of Joan Miro, but once I started taking art classes I became infatuated with all the Great Masters of Art...Monet, Manet, Renoir, Rembrandt, da Vinci, Raphael, Turner, etc. I have traveled to nearly 60 countries and visited every major art museum and was especially inspired by illuminated manuscripts such as the Book of Kells (Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland) and the use of gold and metals in Egyptian hieroglyphs in the Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt. I started to integrate metals in my oil paintings and created my own style. I have sold my art internationally for over 10 years, also sell online at violachurchill.com and Etsy.com. I have taught Art Appreciation for Kindergarten to 2nd grade for 3 years. I can teach you step by step how to create incredible art, starting with learning the basics of sketching to mixing colors, master duplication and discovering your own style.
