About
I shoot it all from babies to funerals, from headshots to wildlife and landscapes. I own more than 30 cameras across all brands. I have been shooting since I was a child. I have a life long relationship with cameras and their proper usage. I'm also fun, sarcastic, and easy to spend time with.
I love teaching! I'm filled with knowledge and tricks and techniques that you otherwise wouldn't learn without the experience. When I'm shooting, I love the diversity and travel. I work with all kinds of subjects, and it keeps me on my toes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start by understanding what you want to learn or where you want to apply the skills. And then we gain confidence with the camera or the software. I often walk students through ever button, function, feature and menu before we get to how to control them.
We cover all the aspects of camera/software control. And then we dial the gear in on what the student will focus on. Then techniques, fundamentals, and tricks and cheat modes (fail safes) are saved into the camera and memory. I provide an escape plan in case of an emergency or you are overwhelmed in the field.
The goal is to be confident, understand what a good image is, how to shoot for those qualities, then applying techniques and skills, and the best part is when worse comes to worse, you can fall back on the escape plan we set in place, and trust the gear.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a Master of photography with over 20 years of camera passion. I have a B.A. In videography/ fine Arts from brooks Institute. I have been teaching private lessons for more than 8 years, and teaching Photoshop to public school for 3 years.
