What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Do an evaluation battery skills test to classified the students skill level and recommend a skills development program.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was 12 yrs old in 1982 when my coach asked me to train a 7 yr old boy during my team's practice and semitenously trained and play soccer the last 34 years trainig and coaching state champions and national champion teams male/female and producing the high school, junior college, NCAA DI-DIi MVP's , MLS and female Olympic gold medalist and world cup champions.

The local youth soccer program in Bakersfield has a Juniors program age 6-12 focused on develong the "metric skills" for six months. Cost is $2,000. The training is individual and group training. The high school and college program is six months but is more technically advanced individual and group training is provided. After the "metric skills" the 2nd progression phase is the technical phase. The six month course is $4000.
How did you get started teaching?
I was hired by Laurie Calloway School for Soccer in Saratoga CA after I played soccer in Europe in the summer of 1986. I worked with European coaches .
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners age 5 through college footballers and MLS players too.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I attended the 2019 Junior College State Chamlinship in DeAnza College to see my prodigy 20 yr old Angel Alvarado play for Fresno City College and win 2-0 over Mnt San Antonio College from LA and get awarded MVP and traveled to Melbourne Maryland to the college award ceremony where he was recognized as USA Junior College Player of the Year and All American .
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Extremely important to look into his/her playing, coaching histoy see what success students achieved in high sxhool, college and national level collectively and individually. And also what methodology the trainer/coach implements and if he/she is available to go see the student play league competitive games to see a different perspective on the student's progress.
