Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new player(s), my philosophy is to: (1) Introduce the skill (2) Demonstrate and explain the skill (3) Practice the skill (4) When and Why to use the skill (5) Skill repetitions (6) Incorporate the skill into live play
I will also ask for any game film (if any) the player may have and watch every single possession. I put together film edits on details where I think we need to focus our time and energy.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for coaches/trainers who played minimum high school basketball, preferably college as well. Passionate about basketball coaching/training and makes his/her primary living through the game of basketball.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
(1) What are some of the things I can do to prepare for the training sessions? (2) When will I start to see any results? (3) Can you tell me a client success story?
