About this pro

*** Offering private and small group basketball instruction in Los Angeles ***

*** Stay tuned for more details about a free / charity basketball clinic this summer with NBA player appearances and corporate partners

Hamptons Hoops Academy was founded in 2014 to be " the premier destination for basketball instruction in the Hamptons"

We've had NBA player appearances the last three summers including Serge Ibaka and Rondae Hollis Jefferson from the NBA champion Toronto Raptors as well as New York Knick's legend John Starks.

Additionally we have also been partnering with the United Way of Long Island as well as several corporate sponsors inluding Douglas Elliman Real Estate, NYC Surgical Associates, TAO Group, and Muzik for an annual basketball charity event where we are also bringing a group of kids out to the Hamptons for the day on scholarship.

Long term we will expanding from a 1 day event to a 3 day and eventually a 5 day camp.  We also plan on getting into one-offs in Manhattan as well as Los Angeles.

I have been living in Los Angeles since February 2017 and am interested in continuing coaching a bit on the side while a startup I moved here to launch takes longer than anticipated to get rolling.  Additionally I am also available for swim instruction :  I used to lifeguard and taught swimming in the Hamptons when I was younger, currenlty I have one client for swim innstruction in the Hollywood Hills on weekends.

I've always been passionate about working with kids , coaching, and mentoring -- I used to be a camp counselor, swim instructor, and have also mannyed / babysit a bunch.  That's in addition to basketball instruction obviously which is my main focus now.

My two sons trained with Nick for a few summers. Nick helped my older son make his high school team and my younger one make his travel team. My boys enjoyed the training. Their shooting and ball handling improved greatly. They loved one on ones against Nick to finish the lessons. I highly recommend hiring Nick to train your children.
