About
I am the Head Girls Basketball coach at Milken Community School in Bel Air. I also have an AAU basketball program called ProphetboyElite for both boys and girls. I played basketball at the college level and I am currently playing in a ProAm league. I grew up playing basketball since I was 5 years old. My grandfather was a professional basketball as well. I have been training/working with kids for the past 10 years and I am a head summer camp counselor/Sports specialist at Stephen S. Wise School.
I love the game of basketball and I ultimately love to see the players I teach grow and become better people/players. It makes me extremely happy to hear the stories of how well the kids Ive coached are doing in life and the game of basketball.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first training session consist of me working with the student just to see where there skill level is at. After one session I come up with the best plan that works with the parents and child in terms of how much they want to improve.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I play semi-professional basketball currently and played in college. I played at Windward highschool and won a CIF championship.my grandfather played professional basketball and has taught me a lot.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I usually charge anywhere from $50-75 for the hour per session. I also have monthly packages that I can discuss in detail with my clients.
How did you get started teaching?
My mom ran a camp for 15 years which I went to from ages 5 to 10. Then I became a counselor in training at her camp from ages 15-17 and eventually I became a counselor once I turned 18. After my first couple years of college Baksetball I decided to work and train at the basketball clinics I grew up going too. All my life I have always enjoyed training and working with kids. I truly believe that I learned the right skills and awareness of how to work with kids and people from my mother.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages of kids from kindergarten to 65 year old men and woman. I specialize working with kids but I am malleable in my teaching style which allows me to be successful with people of all ages.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say try look for a teacher who is not only going to give you the right information but the ultimately give you the right information that best suits who you are as a player. A lot of times kids and adults have coaches who teach them things but the things their learning can’t really apply to who they are as a player. A true teacher I believe can teach it students skills that allow the student to feel like they can eventually become the teacher.
