About
I customize my lessons for each individual's needs. I had to start from scratch and have been studying French for almost a decade. Living in Paris really allowed me to immerse myself to become fluent.
I remember how exciting (yet also nerve-wracking and intimidating) it was to embark upon learning a new language. The beginning can be the hardest in terms of knowing where to start and motivation. I am here to help! I've been there and know what it takes to get from 0 to almost native fluency. I love seeing my students make progress and express themselves in French!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start with a meet and greet session to talk about the students goals and aspirations free of charge. We can decide together what to prioritize and discuss best practices. I am passionate about French and know what it's like to start from the very beginning. I will provide students with materials they can reference outside of class as well to keep learning going in between lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I lived in France for one year and received my undergraduate degree in French Studies from Columbia University. I received the Senior French Award and graduated with honors.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is $75/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
It all started by word of mouth, mostly amongst high school students who needed help with their French mid-terms and finals!
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages! From 7 years old to 65 years old!
