I have had been working in accent reduction, and language aquisition since 1999. My experience is with all language groups and all levels of proficiency. I know all the tricks and strategies for attaining your goals.
Since 2010, I also have been working as a Certified, Clinical, Hypnotherapist, and NLP Practitioner. I use various tools of the trade, upon agreement.
My service stands out from the others, particularly, when my clients agree to do 1 session of hyonotherapy out of every 8 sessions attended. In this way their minds are able to recall everything readily. Relaxation is a key to gaining language skills faster.
Communcation is a joy! I love people and this is a people-business. Within a few days of meeting my clients, they learn ways to improve their language skills that they previously had never heard about. It is very gratifiying to watch my clients succeed in attaining their goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a free phone consultation. During the first lesson, I assess the student's needs and discuss how we long it will take for the student to achieve their goals. During subsequent lessons, we will focus on the skills needed to attain their specific goals. With the consent of the student, I use hypnosis once every eight lessons in order to ensure that the subconscious mind has accepted the learnings.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a TESOL Certificate, which is the accrediation for teaching ESL in private institutions. My training has included dozens of workshops, including Pronounciation, Grammar, Writing, Reading, Conversation, & Listening.
I have a BA in Communication.
I have the CBEST, which allows me to teach in the public school in California.
I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and have many certificates that include ADD/ADHD, which has a direct impact on my work with language acqusition. Through the American Hypnosis Assocaiton, I am certified in training clients in Public Speaking.
I am a Certified Neurolinguistics Practitioner, which has a great impact on client receptivity to learning and communication.

My standard pricing is $75 an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching for ELS Language Centers, and was hired as a Business Executive One-One teacher. My background was in business and I worked with executive business adult students from around the globe. The main focus was accent reduction and conversation. The executives had achieved success in their own companies and they came to our program for accent reduction and conversaton fluency.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with adult students from around the world. I have also worked with students who needed to take the TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC, and Cambridge. I am a test prep expert and have been able to faciliate hundreds of students attain the score they needed in order to get in to American universities and be promoted in their careers.
I work with people whose first language is Russian, Farsi, Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Urdu, along with many others.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was teaching an actress in Los Angeles who was going on an audition the following day. I coached her as we read the sides that had been sent to her to study. I was happy to be a part of her getting work in Hollywood.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find an expert in the field. Teacher who have over 10 years of experience usually know all the tips in order to get to the basis of your problems. It will always save you money and time, working with a true expert. As well, you should choose someone that you have rapport with. Liking your teacher usually translates into learning faster.
