What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We familiarize each other with each other’s work methods. I get a grasp on your artistic direction and we set a common goal. I give you tools towards reaching your potential. These might include hands on demonstrations, assignments, short fun drills, research material and experiments.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Education in painting and drawing the human figure at the New York Academy of Art. Ten years hands on experience as a fine arts restorer in Italy specializing in color matching and chemistry. Eight years expression painting in Spain specializing in quick sketches of figures in motion. 22 years professional teaching and fine arts experience as landscape painter en plein air.
