For Art's Sake

For Art's Sake is a local art studio offering one-on-one oil painting instruction to children, teens and adults. Our studio prides itself at providing a comfortable environment to learn in and specializes at gearing the instruction to your personal needs and desires as a student. All levels welcome beginner to advanced.

For me, as an insturctor, I find teaching so personally rewarding on every level. To watch students grow and excel in something they love brings me pure joy. A family business started over 50 years ago and I personally have been teaching in the community for the past 30 years. Teaching art to generations in this community has brought me a tremendous amount of pride. To know that this studio is successful based on its uniquely personal approach to teaching and has filled so many student's needs on so many levels speaks for itself. From the studio being a comforatbale, safe place for a child to explore their creative side, to our instruction giving high kids the edge to compete in college applications. Our studio has consisitently been a platform for children, teens and adults to explore their talents and interest and then in turn use those skills in a trade or simply because they enjoy art. From a hobby student to an individual who is more serious at following art as a career, our studio gears it's instruction to exacty what your needs and interests are.
