What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our instructor gives examples, then lets the student work hands on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father and owner of the company has been a Ski patroller with Big Bear Ski Patrol for almost 20 years. I have been teaching cpr/first aid for 6 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 per student, but for larger classes a whole price can be negotiated.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching by tagging along with a family friend who would teach while I helped. After a few years I took the lead
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught many different types of students. I mainly work with nursing students, but I have even taught on oil rigs just off shore.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher that interacts with the class, I find interaction helps keep student interest.
