Hello! My name is Shahid and I teach flute lessons. I received my B.M. at CSUN and my M.F.A. at California Institute of the Arts, both in Flute Performance. I have taught as the Flute Teaching Artist with the New West Symphony’s Laby Harmony Project since 2018 and also teach in-home, online, and through local music schools. As a performer, I have played with local orchestras in Los Angeles and freelanced at many venues and recorded flute for artists and composers. I also arrange flute music, many times for my students!
I love to work with students of all ages, from 3rd/4th graders who are new to music all the way to the adult who is returning to flute from a long break. I work with your schedule and personal goals. Reach out today to schedule a lesson!
