Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process of working with a new student is to get them comfortable in the car they will be using. Explaining the components and functions of the vehicle is extremely important. After the student feels comfortable we initiate the session in a residential are teaching the student how to park, reverse, and going over some driving maneuvers. We know that most students are nervous so we always give them good guidance and let them learn at their own pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently attending Cal State Dominguez Hills to become a teacher. This relates to my current job because it gives me the experience of educating students. Also, dealing with various types of students.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing depends on the area of student and how many hours they plan to take. Please contact me at 323-532-0432 for pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at the age of 21 in my parents business. From there many clients like my service so started doing it often. Until 2015 I opened my own driving school, City Driving School.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ive worked with teenagers to elderly students. Also, have taught students from different countries such as, Switzerland, India, Syria, Sweden and many more. Experienced with new drivers, nervous drivers and drivers that have had experienced but just getting back in th mode of driving.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I reently helped a student that had failed the driving test several times attain her license. She have no prior experience and now she is driving with a license in the freeway. I felt awesome because she never thought it would be possible to drive but now she is comfortbale behind the wheel.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would recommend to look at the teachers reviews and get to know how students felt about their experience with that instructor. Also, dont go for the cheaper price because at the end of it all the price determines the service provided. If you could talk to the instructor that would be great.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
First ask how much experience does the instructor have and get to know the person. What services they offer and how they can help. Most importantly, why they should trust them with the services and what guarantees they offer that you will achieve your goals.
